About The Position

As the Hardware Department Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in directing the sales efforts of the hardware department. Your primary responsibilities include assisting in leading and motivating the sales team to achieve departmental sales goals while promoting a culture of exceptional guest service. You will supervise team members to ensure extraordinary customer service is consistently delivered, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. You will also ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to store operations, especially in the absence of the Hardware Department Manager or Hardware Department Assistant Manager. Foster a welcoming and positive environment for guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance their shopping experience. Assist with daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and training of new team members as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a hardware or home improvement setting.
Exceptional guest service skills with a positive attitude and a commitment to creating a memorable shopping experience.
Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, with a strong work ethic and accountability.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of home improvement and hardware products is highly desirable, with a willingness to learn about new items and trends.
