In this position, SET 4 and SET 11 consists of the following systems of the vehicle: Dressed Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Cooling Hoses & Bottles, Low Pressure Air Induction, High Pressure Air Induction, eDrive, Traction Battery, and HV Modules. A SET 4/11 engineer will drive functional issue resolution between functional engineering teams (Exterior Systems & Structures, IPSE, EE Hardware and Underbody Systems, etc.) to support program milestones. They will also drive cross-functional issue resolution (program, finance, quality, attribute, manufacturing, STA, suppliers, etc.) to support program milestones. Additionally, they will drive system design efficiency, finding solutions to reduce complexity, vehicle cost and/or vehicle weight. The engineer will manage system cost status with D&R / finance teams by reviewing engineering analysis of design changes, ensuring efficient vehicle solution is being brought forward to program. They will report in a weekly basis program status and progress to leadership team. Lead escalation of issues when needed. Lead resolution of PD launch issues via JIRA, AIMS, CRs, FCPA, Alerts, & other launch performance metrics for on time delivery of launch. Provide issue resolution updates to the Integration and Program teams. Ensure alignment of engineering resources to budget for all phases of the program.
