About The Position

This position will be fully in office at our Indianapolis field office and it is a temporary position. This position will be responsible for hardware provisioning and IT inventory management at this location. Along with hardware responsibilities, this position will also help provide frontline IT support both in person and remotely. We need someone who is very detail oriented to ensure the accurateness of our IT inventory with the ability to own provisioning hardware, inventory, and requesting inventory replenishment as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree/Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in IT or related field
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues with or without documentation, while appropriately escalating issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivating and having the capability to learn new things on your own in support of your work.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage, audit, and identifying ordering needs for in office IT inventory.
  • Ability to identify documentation needs and ownership of documentation creation.
  • Ability to manage task prioritization based on service desk and customer needs.
  • Experience imaging computers.
  • Microsoft Windows and MacOS support experience.
  • General IT desktop support skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

Nice To Haves

  • Telephony support experience a plus.
  • MDM support experience a plus.
  • Basic networking experience a plus.
  • CompTIA A + and or Network + - Preferred.
  • Any Microsoft desktop related certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Management of all IT inventory at Indianapolis field office including: Imaging and reimaging laptops, Maintaining appropriate inventory levels, Auditing inventory for accurateness, Shipping and receiving inventory, Follow up with users to ensure timely equipment return.
  • General in person and remote desktop support including support of user setups and troubleshooting.
  • Audio visual support for meeting rooms.
  • Management of tickets to ensure timely resolution and appropriate escalation.
  • Ability to follow and maintain technical documentation relating to role.
  • Excellent customer service skills in support of executives in office as well as remote employees.
  • Adherence to security, HIPAA, and other IT policies.
