Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • People‑centric leader with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing engineers at all career stages
  • Proven ability to build, grow, and sustain high‑performing, collaborative teams, including across global or multi‑site environments
  • Demonstrated success in creating clear development plans, providing actionable feedback, and strengthening technical depth and leadership capability within teams
  • Strong execution mindset, with experience prioritizing work, aligning resources, and managing risk to deliver consistent results
  • Solid blend of technical depth and business judgment, enabling effective decision‑making and trade‑off discussions
  • Trusted technical leader who influences design direction, engineering standards, and team practices beyond a single project
  • Practical understanding of high‑speed hardware design, including signal integrity, power integrity, and system‑level performance

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and execution leadership for hardware R&D programs, working in close partnership with domain experts and cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Translate business and product strategy into clear hardware development goals, execution plans, and deliverables across the full product lifecycle
  • Plan and manage resources, priorities, and timelines from product conception through mass production, ensuring alignment with program commitments
  • Identify technical, schedule, cost, and resource risks early; establish and execute mitigation and contingency plans to minimize impact
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets and schedules; forecast milestones and completion dates, and proactively address threats to on‑time and on‑budget delivery
  • Lead execution across organizational boundaries, collaborating effectively with system architecture, firmware, supply chain, and program management teams to ensure total project success
  • Ensure design quality through structured design reviews, margin analysis, validation planning, and hands‑on technical oversight
  • Build, lead, and develop high‑performing hardware engineering teams through effective performance management, coaching, and talent development
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning for the team
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with engineering and business leadership by presenting project status, risks, trade‑offs, and progress updates through reviews and management presentations
