As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical and electronic systems for a variety of cutting-edge projects. Requirements

  • Successfully completed Electrical Engineering program, or a related field.
  • Exposure to PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Expedition), and embedded systems programming (e.g., C/C++, Python).
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, control systems, and robotics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of design and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Must have Canadian Citizenship or have a valid Permanent Resident Card and Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed designs for mechanical and electronic systems, including schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
  • Integrate hardware and software components to ensure seamless operation of mechatronic systems.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of hardware and software to identify and resolve issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality products on time and on budget.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for designs, including specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve design processes and product quality.
