The Hardware Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, testing, and optimizing hardware components for our innovative products. You will be working directly on new and existing connected gas detecting and lone-worker safety devices across Blackline Safety’s entire portfolio of hardware products. In addition to electrical design, you will collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing process and quality engineers to realize best-in-class, high-quality devices to be delivered in volume production. Blackline Safety internally architects, designs, tests, manufactures and sells our products with internal engineering, SMT, firmware & software, and customer support teams. In this role, you will contribute to the electrical architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, and system-level integration of multi-layer boards that meet performance, integration, and cost requirements.
