  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware design (mid-level; adjust as needed).
  • Strong experience in digital circuit design (microcontrollers, high-speed interfaces).
  • Strong experience in analog circuit design (op-amps, filters, ADC/DACs, power regulation).
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, OrCAD, KiCad).
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).
  • Hands-on lab debugging and board bring-up experience.
  • Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and grounding strategies.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC design best practices.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mixed-signal system architecture.
  • Experience designing multilayer PCBs.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (e.g., UL, CE, FCC).
  • Experience with low-power design techniques.
  • Exposure to embedded systems and firmware interaction.
  • Experience in product lifecycle support from prototype to mass production.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop digital and analog circuits, including mixed-signal systems.
  • Create schematics, select components, and perform circuit simulations.
  • Develop and review PCB layouts with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Design and validate power supply circuits (LDOs, DC-DC converters, battery management systems).
  • Implement high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, PCIe as applicable).
  • Design analog front ends (AFEs) including amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC interfaces, and sensor signal conditioning.
  • Perform circuit analysis, tolerance analysis, and worst-case design verification.
  • Develop and execute hardware validation test plans.
  • Troubleshoot and debug boards using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
  • Collaborate with firmware and software engineers for board bring-up and system integration.
