Join an innovative engineering team developing advanced positioning, navigation, and timing hardware used in mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. This role offers the opportunity to own the complete hardware development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through production release and long-term product support. The Hardware Development Engineer will design, implement, test, and validate complex circuit card assemblies incorporating digital, RF, power, and programmable logic technologies. The engineer will work closely with software, systems, manufacturing, quality, and certification teams to develop highly reliable products that operate in demanding aviation environments. Responsibilities include schematic design, FPGA integration, board bring-up, root cause analysis, signal integrity evaluation, documentation creation, and sustaining engineering support. This position requires strong technical expertise in mixed-signal hardware development and the ability to solve complex engineering challenges across all stages of the product lifecycle. Eligibility for Future Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret level clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite for this process. Applicants must clearly indicate any previous DoD security clearance activity.
