Hardware Development Engineer - PCB Design (Bothell, WA)
About The Position
As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be designing and developing the hardware for ultrasound products. Your role: Deliver high quality analog/mixed signal and digital hardware designs (power, signal path, etc.) starting from requirements and schematic development until release (end to end). Document development efforts for the subsystem, component, or module, including requirements, specifications, plans, and reviews. Perform integration and debugging of designs. Coordinate, support and execute product tests to provide a traceable verification of the design. Conduct technical design reviews with the project team(s) and independent subject matter experts across the company. Actively participate in cost saving opportunities, design maintenance and solving end-of-life issues.
Requirements
- BS or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 1+ years of professional experience in electronic hardware development.
- Experience focused on discrete circuit design.
- Strong fundamentals in circuits, analog/mixed signal designs and digital designs.
- Experience with schematic capture tools (Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Altium).
- Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with power conversion (SMPS circuits) desired.
- Experience with Spice preferred.
