Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering required.
  • At least 2 years of real-world hardware design work experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, write detailed specifications and reports, and effectively present information in group settings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analog circuits — rectifiers, regulators, oscillators, amplifiers, filters, inductors — and their electronic schematics.
  • Familiarity with non-isolated and isolated power electronic topologies such as Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, Flyback, Forward, Half-Bridge, and Full-Bridge.
  • Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, electronic loads, AC and DC sources, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and LCR meters.
  • Experience with circuit modeling tools (PSPICE, LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.).
  • Experience with ECAD software (Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, Mentor Graphics, etc.).
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical circuit issues and faults.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AI tools and creating agents to support design projects.
  • Experience with EMC diagnosis, troubleshooting, and mitigation.
  • Experience with wide bandgap materials.
  • MSEE (Master's in Electrical Engineering).

Responsibilities

  • Design DC power distribution circuits, fused circuits, alarm schemes, remote monitoring, and plug-and-play systems.
  • Design and peer review analog, digital, and power circuitry and PCB layouts based on schematics and product specifications, applying sound digital logic principles.
  • Research and resolve design problems on new and existing product lines, using circuit simulation software for parametric modeling.
  • Review engineering design changes and recommend modifications to minimize cost and improve manufacturability.
  • Maintain up-to-date drawings, part lists, and bills of materials in the ERP system — revising documentation to reflect design changes, following filing guidelines, and reviewing customer specifications as requested.
  • Support engineering change requests (ECRs), process improvement (5S), and training initiatives as needed.
