About The Position

The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of various embedded systems, including both hardware and some firmware design. The engineer will have a detailed knowledge of the product functional specification, will conduct design reviews, and resolve product design issues. The candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of engineering work experience and an understanding of embedded hardware and software design.

Requirements

Embedded hardware and software design
Working understanding of CAN and LIN vehicle networks
Knowledge of embedded RTOS and / or Embedded Linux systems
Experience with embedded systems debugging (JTAG/UART/Oscilloscopes/Logic Analyzers)
Experience with electronics CAD systems
PCB design of complex multi-layer circuit boards
Github experience required
Familiarity with CAN analysis software
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Friendly and flexible team player
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
2+ years of experience in embedded hardware and/or software design
2+ years of vehicle network (CAN/LIN) experience
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship for employment (e.g., H-1B visa) now or in the future.
