Requirements

7+ years of experience in Hardware/System validation and debug
B.S. Electrical or Computer Engineering (M.S. is a plus)
Python and BASH scripting experience
Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, VNA, protocol analyzer, power load/analyzer, current probes, soldering rework etc…
Understanding of PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, I2C protocols
Experience working on enterprise systems (storage/server a bonus)
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Responsible for debugging Hardware and System level issues
Lead Hardware and Mechanical validation of new drive designs, both internally and with JDM. Includes board level signal/power measurements, mechanical testing, thermal measurements, 4-corner testing, etc…
Support interoperability and debug of Pure Storage devices in customer systems
Analyze and document test results
Perform failure and root cause analysis to support field issues, customer escalation and factory defects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements
