About The Position

This is a full-time position at Churchbridge Home Centre. The role involves delivering legendary service to all guests of the Co-op, making them feel "at home here". Responsibilities include cashiering, petroleum duties, yard duties, and stocking.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's license and maintain it throughout employment.
• Retail experience in customer service, point of sale operation, and merchandising.
• Familiarity with operating power tools and power mobile equipment including forklifts (training available).
• Physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel.
• Willingness to work all scheduled shifts including days, evenings, holidays and weekends, and be available for call-ins.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• Results-oriented.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate to deliver solutions.
• Recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

Responsibilities

• Processing transactions through the Point-of-Sale system.
• Providing full service at the fuel pumps including dispensing fuel, washing windows and checking oil.
• Loading, securing, delivering and unloading customer building material orders.
• Preparing customer orders through cutting and measuring products.
• Unloading freight, stocking and facing products within the store and yard.
