Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to walk, see and have full use of both hands.
  • Ability to perform highly repetitive work with high weights and much vibration, 22-25 assemblies per minute using eight different motions.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lb. cartons a distance of 3 feet and place on a pallet.
  • Ability to push loaded skids using a force of 20 lbs. a distance of 6 feet, periodically.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce and/or prepare for shipment a good quality product.
  • Perform processes including, but not limited to, assembling, painting, boxing, palletizing, leading, filing, bundling, banding, nutting, sorting, boxing, twisting, and deburring.
  • Make visual inspections, separate parts, identify, tag, count, record production, record scrap, and keep required production records.
  • Maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
