About The Position

CleanSpark is seeking a Hardware Assembly Technician to join our team in Dalton, GA. This role is responsible for preparing parts, tools, and equipment for repairs, maintaining inventory, documenting work, and ensuring the proper functioning and organization of the hardware repair shop. The technician will also be involved in disassembling and reassembling mining equipment, including applying thermal paste to hashboards. This position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be able to lift 50-75 lbs and be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy, as the role may involve operating a company vehicle or traveling between job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare parts, tools, and equipment including heat sinks for repairs.
  • Maintain inventory level and keep equipment and tools in good conditions.
  • Maintain proper documentation and track repairs using work order system.
  • Maintain the physical environment of the hardware repair shop.
  • Record and scan incoming inventory shipments.
  • Coordinate the movement of inventory via pallet jacks.
  • Disassemble miners and remove hash boards.
  • Apply thermal paste to hashboards.
  • Disassemble miners and remove hashboards as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
