About The Position

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Hardscape Showroom Sales Associate to join our Eden Prairie showroom team! In this role, you’ll create a welcoming experience for customers while guiding them through product selections and supporting the sales process from start to finish. You’ll work with homeowners, contractors, and design professionals, helping bring their projects to life while contributing to a clean, engaging showroom environment and achieving sales goals. Seeking candidates available to start right away, working Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays and seasonal extended hours. Grow with Gertens today!

Requirements

High school diploma required
2+ years of sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working toward sales goals
Basic computer and POS system skills
Ability to work independently and on a team

Nice To Haves

associate degree preferred
Industry experience (landscaping, stone, hardscapes, or similar) a plus

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service
Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs
Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on inquiries
Support projects from initial consultation through completion
Maintain product knowledge, pricing, and promotions
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually appealing
Assist with inventory, displays, and sample management
Identify opportunities to upsell and build repeat business
Support showroom marketing initiatives, including social media and brand messaging
Assist in planning and hosting showroom events
Collect customer feedback to improve showroom experience and marketing efforts
Resolve customer issues and support team members as needed
