About The Position

On Point Strategy LLC (OPS) is seeking a highly proactive, resourceful, and service-oriented Happiness Specialist to support a federal government client community in Puerto Rico. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes ownership, anticipates needs, solves problems, and creates meaningful experiences for employees and their families as they live, work, and transition to Puerto Rico. The Happiness Specialist serves as a trusted local resource and concierge, helping community members navigate everyday needs while creating opportunities for connection, cultural integration, family engagement, and an exceptional overall experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully complete and maintain any required federal background investigation, suitability determination, credentialing, or security screening applicable to the position.
  • Willingness to provide information and documentation required for the federal vetting process.
  • Ability to maintain eligibility to access client facilities, systems, or information as required by the contract.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in hospitality, concierge or guest services, customer experience, tourism or destination services, relocation services, events and experiential programming, community engagement, employee experience, or client services.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of Puerto Rico and its communities, services, culture, attractions, and resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools; familiarity with CRM systems and Canva preferred.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive information.
  • Availability to support occasional activities during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • An active or previously held federal security clearance is highly desirable but is not required unless specifically mandated by the final contract.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-touch concierge and customer service to employees and their families.
  • Assist with relocation, onboarding, settling-in, and departure-related needs.
  • Help community members navigate local resources and processes, including transportation, utilities, government services, education, healthcare resources, housing, recreation, and other everyday needs.
  • Independently manage service requests from initial inquiry through resolution and follow-up.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively identify solutions before issues escalate.
  • Research, recommend, develop, and coordinate social, cultural, educational, recreational, and family-oriented activities.
  • Create experiences that help employees and their families discover Puerto Rico, connect with the community, and feel supported.
  • Maintain an active 60-90 day calendar and pipeline of relevant community activities, resources, and events.
  • Develop relationships with local organizations, vendors, agencies, attractions, service providers, and community resources.
  • Prepare orientations, informational materials, newsletters, recommendations, guides, and digital content.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, service requests, follow-ups, and outcomes in the program CRM or tracking systems.
  • Identify recurring client needs and recommend improvements to services, resources, and programming.
