About The Position
S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger for the Fabrication Shop. The Hanger is responsible for creating the hangers used to hang pipe in varying projects that the company completes. This job must be done in a timely and accurate manner, while working with small details and intricate designs. This position is represented by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #219. This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast paced multi tasked environment with a focus towards detail and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
Nice To Haves
- Technical or trade school training is a plus.
- Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Pick materials needed to complete each project
- Read and interpret blueprints/sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly
- Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately
- Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed
- Input information into computer
- Interpret information already in computer
