About The Position
S.A. Comunale is seeking a Hanger to support the Fabrication Shop. The Hanger is responsible for creating the hangers used to hang pipe in varying projects that the company completes. This job must be done in a timely and accurate manner, while working with small details and intricate designs. This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus towards detail and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
Nice To Haves
- Technical or trade school training is a plus.
- Experience working in a fabrication shop or factory setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Pick materials needed to complete each project
- Read and interpret blueprints/sketches to measure and cut rod accordingly
- Assemble pipe hangers efficiently and accurately
- Bag, bundle, and band materials as directed
- Input information into computer
- Interpret information already in computer
