This role is for a "go getter", goal-oriented person with an eye for details who enjoys working independently, being organized, dependable, and meeting production goals. Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing employment and training services to help people find jobs and reach financial stability. The organization operates 52 retail stores, 20 career centers, and dozens of attended donation centers across a 31-county territory. Requirements

Must enjoy working independently.
Must be organized.

Must be able to meet production goals.
Must have an eye for quality and be able to consistently be alert to defects.
Must be able to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
Must maintain a safe and neat work environment.
Production or similar experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Sorting clothing: must have an eye for quality and be able to consistently be alert to defects.
Hanging and tagging clothing requires the ability to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
Maintaining a safe and neat work environment- taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
Cross-training may include: Cash Register; Receiving, pricing and stocking donations.
