Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to perform painting, carpentry, and finish work.
  • Experience with fire, life, health, and safety systems.
  • Ability to communicate well with residents regarding the status of their maintenance requests.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and resident information.
  • Certifications including: (Z-95) Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems in Shelters and Similar Facilities, (P-98) Fuel Oil Piping and Storage in Buildings (Supervision of Fuel-Oil Piping & Storage in Buildings), (P-99) Low-Pressure Oil Bruner Operator (Supervision of Low-Pressure Boilers), (A-35) Operation & Maintenance of Air Compressors, (S-12) Citywide Sprinkler Systems (Supervision & Maintenance), (S-13) Citywide Standpipe Systems (Supervision & Maintenance).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a luxury hotel or residential environment is a plus!
  • Experience with Building Management Systems and a basic knowledge of computer programs will make your application stand out.

Responsibilities

  • Providing operational and maintenance support for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Performing general maintenance for residential units and the rest of the building, such as: Painting, Drywall Repair, Carpentry Work, Light Bulb Replacements, Plumbing Equipment Repair.
  • Maintaining the proficiency of fire, life, health, and safety systems.
  • Delivering 5-star service to residents, guests, and fellow team members.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
