About The Position
We are a property preservation and maintenance company seeking a reliable, highly skilled, and professional Lead Handyman for a 1099 contract position. This role is perfect for an independent professional who has their own setup and is looking for a consistent stream of work orders without the hassle of sourcing materials or managing clients.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of professional experience in residential maintenance.
- This is a 1099 contractor position; you are responsible for your own taxes and insurance.
- Must own a full suite of professional-grade power and hand tools.
- Must have a reliable truck or van capable of reaching various sites.
Responsibilities
- Plumbing: Leak diagnosis, clearing clogs, repairing/replacing faucets, toilets, and disposals.
- Electrical: Replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, and basic troubleshooting.
- HVAC (Minor): Condensate drain line clearing, vent cleaning, and filter replacements.
- Carpentry & Drywall: Patching, matching textures, door repairs, and minor fencing/deck work.
- Appliances: Basic troubleshooting and repairs for standard household appliances.
- Documentation & Photo Requirements: Detailed documentation is a strict requirement for payment processing. You must be able to provide: For Repair Jobs: Clear Before, During, and After photos of the work area. For Inspections: Clear Before photos only, documenting the current state of the property/issue.
