About The Position

Maintenance Technicians oversee the upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and grounds. This hands-on role involves performing repairs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards across multiple locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in general building maintenance, facility repairs, groundskeeping, and related maintenance tasks are required.
• Mandatory attendance at a 4-day, 8am-4pm training program on the Home's trauma-informed care model within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate external vendors and volunteers scheduling and work completion for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain fleet vehicles through inspections, external service coordination, and preventive care.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and maintain documentation for inspections.
