About The Position

This role involves performing basic service and repairs on a limited portfolio of handpieces and/or small equipment. The technician will diagnose and perform failure analysis using appropriate test equipment and tooling. Responsibilities include documenting device evaluation, service recommendations, parts required, and preventative maintenance feedback on service work orders. The technician will also repair and perform quality testing of products to established specifications and may provide technical support on a limited portfolio of products. Other tasks as assigned by lead or management will also be part of the role.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Basic electrical / mechanical skills desired.
Basic math and logic skills required.
Basic computer skills and software use desired.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
