About The Position

This is a seasonal, afternoon shift position with a base pay of $13.73/hour, $0.25 shift premium and a production bonus based on your individual performance each shift. Seasonal production demand begins in April and ends no later than December 14th. You will work with a team and report to production leads and team lead who will support you in your success. The Hand packer functions in a team environment and is responsible for the proper filling of the jars being run. Hand-Pack employees must pack to set standard.

Requirements

Have reliable attendance.
Pack jars at a rapid rate.
Uphold high food quality standards.
Maintain personal safety standards.
The opportunity to work with others and independently to ensure food safety and cleanliness is achieved.
The ability to work safely with equipment once trained.
The ability to be stationary for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Train employees.
Work with Q. A. Lab, production supervisors and Crew leaders.
Comply with company policy and procedures.
Read and interpret documents such as; safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Understand quality checks as they relate to packing.
Other Responsibilities to be assigned.
