Responsibilities

  • Practice world class safety practices, every day.
  • Participate in monthly safety talks with production departments or as required.
  • Participate in quality stand down meetings as quality issues warrant.
  • Support quality containments and system purges.
  • Follow IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 practices.
  • Receive and manage the staging of E-Car material as it arrives to the plant.
  • Properly dispose of, and disposition of, packing material and shipping racks.
  • Interact daily with the MPT Materials Team.
  • Receive training and certification to operate a man lift in the cell.
  • Inventory material as required.
  • Purge obsolete material as required and disposition properly.
  • Organize storage shelves and floor material locations.
  • Keep storage crib area and floor material areas clean and organized and “tour ready”.
  • Populate part storage carts and deliver material to the E-Car assembly stations.
  • Perform sub assembly and staging of Vacuum Pumps, DC/DC Converters, Parking Pawls and Water Pumps.
  • Maintain security practices for bailed components from Ford Motor Company.
  • Responsible for writing up and disposition of scrap.
  • Participate in daily carryover meetings with day shift E-Car Lead Operator.
  • Receive training and indirect guidance from the lead operator(s).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Support staff and material schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Use the Andon System to alert the Lead Operator immediately if any actual issues that may have an impact on meeting SQTCM targets or requirements.
  • Utilize the Quality Gate Escalation Process to escalate problems correctly.
  • Interact professionally with customers / end users.
  • Report accidents that may occur.
