About The Position

Concentra is seeking a Hand Surgeon to provide on-site specialist services as an independent contractor (1099). The role is intended to complement the surgeon’s existing practice, with a typical arrangement involving approximately a four-hour shift once a week or every other week. Scheduling is flexible and takes the surgeon’s private practice into consideration. Compensation is determined by a revenue-share model.

Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and support functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the Hand Surgeon provides non-surgical and surgical care for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. The role also involves communicating with employers and actively participating in case management.

Requirements

• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Be board-certified or board-eligible in Hand Surgery.
• Have medical malpractice insurance that covers services provided on site.

Nice To Haves

• Experience treating patients with work-related injuries is preferred.
