Hand Surgeon Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra is seeking a hand surgeon to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract role is designed to complement your existing practice. You will typically treat patients at a Concentra location for approximately a 4-hour shift, either weekly or bi-weekly. Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, facilitating their return to work and functional restoration. In collaboration with medical and therapy providers, you will offer specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, for work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and actively participate in case management. The treatments provided will significantly impact the lives of patients seeking care and comfort.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hand Surgery
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
