About The Position

The Hand Finisher / Deburr / Grinder uses hand tools and hand-held power tools to grind, sand, clean, or polish objects and parts made from a variety of materials. The position corrects defects and prepares surfaces for further finishing, achieving the finish specified by the customer or print. It also involves stacking parts on carts and pallets and sorting items into inventory using a cart. The role maintains a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations, and performs other related duties as assigned. Aerospace experience is required.

Requirements

• Aerospace experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills, including counting.

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces for further finishing.
