Ham Packaging Team Member (1st & 2nd Shift)
About The Position
Fresh Mark is hiring Ham Packaging Team Members for both 1st and 2nd Shift at their Salem, Ohio facility. They are looking for dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are interested in building a long-term career in food production. As a member of the Ham Packaging team, you will help package, inspect, label, and prepare quality ham products while supporting food safety, quality, and production goals. No previous food manufacturing experience is required, and training is provided. Fresh Mark has proudly produced quality food products and invested in employees for more than 100 years, offering a growing team where hard work, reliability, and career growth are valued.
Requirements
- Work in a cool food manufacturing environment
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Work in a fast-paced production environment
- Work overtime and weekends when necessary
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and dependability
- Follow all company safety, quality, and food safety procedures
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Responsibilities
- Package, wrap, seal, and prepare ham products for shipment
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, weight, and specification compliance
- Weigh and label products accurately
- Operate or assist with packaging equipment and production machinery
- Monitor product quality throughout the packaging process
- Move materials and finished products throughout the department
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet production goals and daily targets
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
