About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. The role involves collaborating with store teams to improve product placement and maintain inventory, while supporting fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations when needed. The position may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in serviced stores. Merchandisers service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. They maintain the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores by restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory, and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, supervisor communications, time reporting, feedback, and required activity surveys. Professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers is important. The role provides support during seasonal demand, including additional workdays and extended hours before and after major holidays. Some holiday work may fall on the holiday itself, including weekends. Merchandisers may also participate in department resets and installations, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Hallmark field merchandisers may support other team members in their territories as needed. This is a part-time position with a variable work-week schedule, averaging 12–15 hours per week. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible part-time employees with schedules under 30 hours can access voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
