The Hall Lead Mental Health Associate (MHA) provides direct care to adolescent residents with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves ensuring resident safety on the unit through a therapeutic approach, assisting with daily activities, facilitating groups, and aiding in the intake and discharge process. Hall Leads are responsible for implementing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, setting a positive example for other MHAs, and assisting in training new MHAs. Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years, offering services from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Their RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are unique in the State of Alabama.
