About The Position
We are seeking talented individuals proficient in Hakha-Chin and English to join our team of international interpreters. If you have a passion for languages and a commitment to providing excellent service, we want to hear from you! This is a fully remote position with a clear schedule, offering full-time or part-time employment. Immediate availability to start working after onboarding is expected, with monthly payments based on a per-minute rate.
Requirements
- Proficiency/bilingual/native level of English and target language
- 90% English proficiency
- Steady wired internet connection
- USB wired headset
- Windows 10 or Mac
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of interpreting experience
- High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures
- High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
Responsibilities
- Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct
- Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical, specifically)
- Go into internal professional training
- Communicate and report to your team leader
