About The Position

We are seeking qualified Haitian Creole interpreters to provide in-person interpretation services for our local Nebraska clients. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference in the community by assisting non-English speakers and utilizing cultural knowledge. The position offers job satisfaction and flexible hours. We have an immediate need for Haitian Creole interpreters in the Lincoln area.

Requirements

• Fully bilingual in Haitian Creole and English.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Must be available for in-person interpretation only.
• Must have transportation to attend appointments locally.
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required).
• Must have access to a printer.
• Must provide proof of vaccination or have a documented medical or religious exemption.
• Must have some availability Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM.

Nice To Haves

• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
