About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Part-Time Hairstylist who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do! As a Hairstylist at Four Seasons, you will deliver exceptional hair care services, including cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments, ensuring guests receive personalized and luxurious experiences. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to high-quality service, contributing to the overall success of the spa.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional salon or spa environment.
  • Valid Ontario hairstylist licence.
  • Proficiency in various hair techniques, including cutting, colouring, and styling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in Canada.
  • Work permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with hair extensions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional hair treatments, including cuts, colouring, highlights, Balayage, blowouts, and specialized services, tailored to individual guest preferences.
  • Consult with guests to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on styles and treatments.
  • Perform bridal and special event updos and styles.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and techniques to offer contemporary and innovative services.
  • Welcome guests warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit.
  • Educate guests on hair care routines and recommend suitable products to maintain and enhance their style.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat visits and referrals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in proper working condition.
  • Manage appointments efficiently, respecting schedules and minimizing wait times.
  • Work collaboratively with the spa team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain high service standards.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
