About The Position
Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is hiring a Hair Stylist for kids and families! We provide professional cutting and styling services in a fun and exciting environment, all delivered by friendly and experienced staff members. Having team members that enjoy what they do is the key to a great experience for our customers and their parents! We believe everyone, customers and employees alike, should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!"
Requirements
- Current Cosmetology license in Nebraska
- Ability and desire to work with kids (0-14) and parents
Responsibilities
- Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling
- Listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction and provide excellent service.
- Ensure all services meet high quality standards.
- Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends.
- Maintain cleanliness of salon and apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
- Able to work when customers needs us, afternoons through 7 on the weekdays, 10-5 weekends. No late shifts required.
- Rotating weekend availability highly preferred
