Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license
• Proven experience as a hair stylist or in a similar role
• Desire to work with older adults and those living in care
• Excellent knowledge of hair care products, treatments, and techniques
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and creativity in hairstyling

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling and cutting services to residents living in care
• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
• Perform hair colour treatments, highlights, and other chemical services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Scheduling appointments in collaboration with care team
• Provide own supplies
