About The Position
The Hair Stylist will consult with clients on hair styling options, provide shampoo, cuts, color, and blow drying services, describe the benefits of hair care products to encourage retail sales, and stay up-to-date on all hair trends and styling/coloring methods. This role is responsible for providing a positive experience for members through excellent customer service and building relationships for repeat visits. The stylist must also maintain sanitization and safety standards according to Florida Law and attend required trainings and meetings.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Cosmetology License
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must provide liability insurance

Responsibilities
- Consulting clients on Hair styling options
- Provide shampoo, cuts, color and blow drying
- Describing benefits of hair care products to produce retail
- Staying up to date on all hair trends and styling/ coloring methods
- Provide an positive experience for members by great customer services
- Consulting with clients and listening to their needs to determine their preference
- Shampoo, cut, style and color hair as desired
- Build relationships with members to ensure repeat visits
- Describe different hair care products and their benefits
- Maintain all sanitization standard under Florida Law
- Adhere to salon safety standards under Florida Law
- Maintain valid licenses and provide documentation
- Attend required trainings, workshops and staff meetings
- Assume other duties as assigned by Fitness Director
Benefits
- Compensation is based on commission of services rendered (70%–80%)
