Requirements

Current Indiana cosmetology or beauty culture license
Strong communication and guest-service skills
Ability to perform haircuts, color, and chemical services
Ability to formulate hair color and complete services on schedule
Comfortable using salon software, tablets, computers, and online education
Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, education, and continued growth

Responsibilities

Provide professional haircuts, color, chemical treatments, styling services, and other services permitted by your license.
Conduct detailed consultations and create customized service plans.
Educate guests on professional products, home care, hair health, and styling.
Recommend and pre-book future appointments based on each guest’s needs.
Complete services efficiently and within scheduled appointment times.
Document guest information, service history, and color formulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sanitized workspace.
Participate in team meetings, coaching, and continued education.
Communicate professionally with guests, team members, guest care, and leadership.
Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
Help support a respectful, collaborative, and gossip-free salon culture.
