About The Position
At Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in White Bear Lake, we make every haircut fun and stress-free — for kids and stylists. We’re a family-focused salon that offers a positive, low-pressure environment where you can do what you love: create smiles. Located in Birch Lake Square on Hwy 96, our salon is a high-energy, fun space where kids get their haircut while playing Xbox, watching movies, and sitting in their favorite car. We’re looking for talented, reliable stylists who want to be part of a fun, supportive team — not just another salon job. We are a locally owned, family-run business actively growing in Minnesota. Requirements
- Active Minnesota Cosmetology or Barber License (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
- Weekend availability required. At least 2 weekends per month
- take pride in their work and show up consistently
Responsibilities
- Provide stylish haircuts for kids and families
- Create a fun, positive experience for every child
- Build lasting relationships with clients in the community
- Maintain a clean, organized salon
- Stay current with styles and techniques
- Support daily salon operations (POS, stocking, etc.)
