Scissors & Scotch is expanding in Charlotte and seeking experienced Hair Stylists / Barbers who love men’s grooming, top-tier client service, and a team-first culture. If you enjoy delivering sharp fades, classic cuts, beard trims, and straight-razor work in an upscale, upbeat environment, this is your next shop. Requirements
- Active North Carolina Cosmetology or Barber License (required).
- 1+ year of professional shop/salon experience (3+ years preferred).
- Strong clipper and shear work; comfort with men’s grooming services (fades, beard shaping, shaves).
- Customer-obsessed mindset with excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Reliability, professionalism, and pride in a clean, safe work environment.
- Availability for a mix of evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality haircuts, styles, fades, shaves, and beard services tailored to each client.
- Conduct thorough consultations; recommend styles, grooming routines, and retail products.
- Deliver a smooth client experience from check-in to check-out; build a loyal book of business.
- Maintain excellent sanitation and station organization in line with state board standards.
- Stay current on trends and techniques through paid, ongoing education.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture; support teammates during peak times.
