About The Position

Great Clips in Guntersville is seeking a Salon Manager to lead and operate a high-performing salon team. The manager develops, coaches, motivates, and supports stylists; manages scheduling and day-to-day salon operations; and drives team performance and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that includes providing haircuts, with the balance between administrative and floor work depending on salon needs. Leadership and technical training, ongoing support, operational systems, and salon technology are provided. The locally owned franchise offers competitive pay, profit sharing, paid time off, holiday pay, a 401(k), and bonus programs. All Great Clips salons are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees, who are responsible for hiring and personnel matters.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others develop their skills and confidence.
Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
Comfort with technology and salon tools, including scheduling systems, metrics, and reports.
Goal-oriented mindset focused on team performance and customer experience.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.
Experience as an Assistant Manager or an experienced stylist ready to take on full leadership responsibility.
