We’re seeking an experienced Salon Manager to serve amazing clientele at our busy, full-service SmartStyle hair salon! Even if you haven’t been a hair salon manager before, but you’re an experienced stylist looking to grow, we are ready to teach. Requirements

Have an active cosmetology/barber license (or reciprocal license)
Have a deep love for hair styling trends and cutting-edge artistry.
Are true leaders with experience managing a team, even if that experience is in a different industry.
Are eager to learn, adapt, and contribute with an optimistic growth mindset.
Love to mentor up-and-coming stylists, lead by example, and collaborate well with others.

Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch customer service and create a welcoming environment for clients.
Motivate by example, boost team morale, and provide hands-on support for your team.
Collaborate with ownership on setting and achieving goals for your team, excel at daily operations, and advance the local reputation of your salon.
Stay up to date with salon management software and other business applications.
Train, educate, and mentor stylists.
Ensure salon compliance with company policies as well as local and state regulations.
Manage client interactions with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Understand and support key actions for success, like goal setting, training, inventory management, and community outreach.
Take pride in exceeding cleanliness standards.
