The HACCP Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that all phases of the HACCP and SSOP programs are executed according to established written procedures and formats. This includes reviewing HACCP and SSOP records for completeness and correctness, coordinating responses for Non-Compliance Reports (NRs) with plant supervision and management, and conducting hourly PSRs as required. The role also involves making necessary changes to the SSOP and HACCP plans, ensuring employee adherence to GMP rules, and preparing weekly and monthly reports and graphs. Key duties include conducting annual reviews of HACCP and SSOP plans, performing monthly plant walk-throughs and GMP audits, and assisting the Quality Assurance department in administration and QA compliance, in conjunction with the QA Manager. The position requires strong initiative and timely follow-through to ensure execution and documentation meet program guidelines, and involves performing any additional tasks assigned by QA and plant management.
