BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional in the N. Philadelphia area. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential. Requirements

• One year + experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to work various shift types and locations while being adaptable and flexible
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
• Ability to travel from client to client within the zip code list provided

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
