About The Position

The Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to join our faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Roswell Park is the nation’s first cancer center and an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our department is a high-volume, research-intensive gynecologic oncology program with a strong clinical trials portfolio and an expanding translational research footprint. Faculty work across an integrated cancer-center ecosystem, with direct access to clinical trials infrastructure, genomics and biostatistics shared resources, biospecimen platforms, and collaborative research programs across the institution. The department has national momentum with active NCI- and DoD-funded research programs, a broad clinical trials portfolio, high-impact publications, and strong patient experience scores. Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
  • Board certification or board eligibility in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State
  • License to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
  • Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the specialty of Gynecologic Oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive surgical and oncologic care across the full range of gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and rare gynecologic cancers
  • Perform advanced open, minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures
  • Develop and maintain an active clinical practice within the department
  • Enroll and manage patients on clinical trials and cooperative group studies
  • Lead or contribute to clinical, translational, population-based, or health services research
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and students within our ACGME-accredited three-year Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program
  • Contribute to the academic, clinical, and strategic growth of the department
