About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in GYN Oncology, with a focus on First Assist duties. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical work, covering a period from August 1, 2026, to February 15, 2027. The NP/PA will work four weeks per month, with shifts scheduled Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (10-hour shifts). Mondays through Wednesdays are dedicated to Operating Room (OR) duties, while Fridays are for clinic and administrative tasks. Thursdays are off. The coverage is supplemental and will take place across two locations: Everett from August 1 to November 15, 2026, and Swedish First Hill in Seattle from November 16, 2026, to February 15, 2027. The average daily patient volume is between 6-12 patients, and rounding is expected. The case mix includes GYN Oncology and Pelvic Surgery. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and provides support from 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Requirements

Board Certified (BC)
Valid WA or IMLC License
DEA required
BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
Experience in GYN Oncology
Experience in Pelvic surgery
Experience in robotic surgery (Da Vinci)
Experience as a First Assist
Proficiency in Epic EMR
Clean background

Responsibilities

Perform first assist in gynecologic oncology and pelvic surgeries.
Conduct pelvic exams and manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Utilize robotic surgery systems (Da Vinci) for surgical procedures.
Manage clinic and administrative duties on designated clinic days.
Collaborate with healthcare team across two locations (Everett and Seattle) for continuity of care.
