About The Position

The Granite YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown is seeking a Head Gymnastics Coach to join their fun, engaging, and impactful team. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape a dynamic gymnastics program, mentor athletes and coaches, and create a positive, skill-building environment for participants of all ages and abilities. Whether leading competitive team practices, organizing meets, or coaching athletes to reach their personal best, the Head Gymnastics Coach will play a key role in fostering confidence and a love for the sport.

Requirements

Previous experience coaching competitive gymnastics
Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, progressions, and safety practices
Experience leading or supervising staff preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Passion for youth development and creating a positive developmental environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

CPR/AED & First Aid, SafeSport, and USA Gymnastics credentials preferred

Responsibilities

Lead, oversee and coach gymnastics competitive programs for levels 3-8
Design and implement progressive, age-appropriate training programs centered on USA Gymnastics fundamentals
Coach athletes in skill development, technique, competition preparation and soft skills
Supervise, mentor, and develop assistant coaches and instructors
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants
Manage program scheduling, enrollment, and support budget development
Build strong positive relationships with athletes, families, and the community
Support program growth through outreach, events, and retention strategies
Attend meets throughout the competitive season
