About The Position
Athletes Global Elite Performance Gymnastics academy is looking for fun, positive, and enthusiastic instructors who have a background teaching overall fitness, strength, flexibility, body control, floor work, bars, beams, uneven bars, floor routine, vault, trampoline, that is the basis for gymnastics and tumbling. We are looking for someone who is excited and enjoys all aspects of teaching gymnastics! A background check is required. This is for a summer program with two back-to-back programs on Thursdays, starting June 25th and running until August 13th. Availability for the entire program is essential. Backups are also needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Background in teaching overall fitness, strength, flexibility, body control, floor work, bars, beams, uneven bars, floor routine, vault, trampoline.
- Excited and enjoys all aspects of teaching gymnastics.
- Ability to commute to Springfield, VA 22153.
- Available for the entire program duration (June 25th - August 13th).
- Pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Teach overall fitness, strength, flexibility, body control, floor work, bars, beams, uneven bars, floor routine, vault, and trampoline.
- Instruct gymnastics and tumbling.
- Engage with and teach children aged 4-5 years old in the 'Gymnastics for Preschoolers' program.
- Instruct children aged 6-12 years old in the 'Gymnastics I' program.
- Ensure availability for the entire program duration.
