About The Position

At Deerfield Park District, we provide outstanding parks, services, facilities and recreation programs that enrich lives, promote healthy living and inspire memorable experiences. We are looking for hard working, caring people that support our mission. Our Gym Supervisors bring basketballs to practices at District 109 school. Monitors facility and gym usage by parents, coaches and players. Oversees gym as teams practice. Completes gym checklists and accident reports. Communicates with Athletics Supervisor, parents, coaches, players and school custodians. Mondays-Thursdays 6:00-9:00PM Pay rate: $17.00

Requirements

Must be 16 years old or older.
Works well in a team environment.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted during work at all levels, including a culturally diverse public with a focus on safety and quality customer service.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Pick-up basketballs from the Sachs Recreation Center.
Arrive on time at the school assigned.
Make sure the gym is clean and ready for practice.
Open the door at the school for parents, coaches and players.
Complete a gym checklist.
After practices are complete bring basketballs back to Sachs Recreation Center.
Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
Follow the Deerfield Park District policies, procedures and guidelines.
Maintains good safety and awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
